A place of sublime comfort in Courchevel 1850
The offerings of Courchevel 1850 take some beating, but this chalet certainly contends with the best. Thanks to lavish stylings harmonising a traditional allure; expect an outwardly enchanting French Alpine residence.
Vast timber balustrades span the open-plan living; expansive windows frame inspiring mountain views; while inviting bedroom suites lure guests with unbridled promises of comfort.
Then descend into the depths of this lavish abode for the ultimate in self-indulgence: a hidden hammam with its own private massage room, steam room, and jacuzzi. When you fear the slopes have finally gotten the better of you, an hour in this restorative hinterland will have you ready for days back on glistening pistes.
Burrowed in the exclusive surrounds of Bellecôte, guests are coddled by exquisite luxury and blessed with access to the famed Les Trois Vallées Ski Area. A short stroll from the warmth of the chalet to the exhilaration of the piste– at the envy of the resort. Or just ask your private Chauffeur to drop you elsewhere to start your (skiing) day.
The depths of the property hide an area of exclusivity; with a swimming pool, indoor jacuzzi, sauna and massage room, this is the perfect antidote for ski-weary legs. Once entered into an extreme state of bliss, discover peace in the ‘relaxing room’ – a veritable sea of tranquillity.
Ample Opportunity to Engage Ever-active Souls
The ground floor presides over a state-of-the-art gym for guests whose energy levels know no bounds. Or, for days when the clouds envelop the mountain, settle in front of Hollywood’s latest blockbuster courtesy of the chalet’s very own private cinema screen.
Once cobalt-blue skies have returned, strap on pre-warmed boots in the ski room, then race back out onto immaculately-groomed pistes.
Peaceful Palaces to Rest the Sleepiest of Heads
The heart of the chalet is for soporific slumber as the middle two floors house six inviting bedrooms; each a deluxe double with their own ensuite bathroom – or with the option of single beds. Windows gaze out onto the astonishingly beautiful mountain range; there are few more picturesque environs in which to discover an uninterrupted night of ski-induced sleep.
An Open-fireplace in the Eaves
The impressive timber structures of the Chalet stretch right up into the recesses as the angular roof glides high overhead. With two resplendent reception rooms in which to relish end-of-day champagnes in front of roaring fires, this is the height of sophistication.
All that’s left is to recline to the calming hues of the hard stone floors, offset by the warmth of comforting leather furnishings. As the piece-de-résistance; a wrought-iron staircase elicits a sense of Parisienne chic, rounding out the extravagance in classic Courchevel style.
