Situated in the desirable Winkelmatten area of the resort, it is a 5 minute walk to the Matterhorn Express gondola and it is possible to ski back to within 100m of the door (or less!) for much of the winter. The chalet has fantastic views of the Matterhorn.

Furthermore, the impressive in-house “wellness” facilities rival those found in many of Zermatt’s hotels. On the chalet’s bottom level there is this extensive wellness area with, in addition to a 10m heated swimming pool with Matterhorn view, a sauna, shower and equipped exercise area/gym.

The large sitting/dining room has an atmospheric fireplace and wood oven, as well as its own terrace. The adjacent kitchen/dinner is fully equipped and has a big table where everyone can eat together, as well as a terrace which looks at the Matterhorn. Tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard, the chalet’s owner is right to be proud of his collection of paintings and drawings that adorn the chalet’s walls.
